Just Got Skype

And I love IT! I live in the basement of my house (poor reception for my cell phone), and we have no land line, so it's great to be able to make calls from the comfort of my computer, and it's also great because I do some buying/selling of computer parts, and I can look up specs and prices and what not on the fly.

$30 a year is such a low price to pay for such a great service... who else loves Skype?

He probably has the Skypeout feature which allows you to make calls to any number.

skype itself is free, but using skype to call landline phones costs money. Anyways, I use skype to chat with my friends while playing BF2, so we can keep in constant contact in the game without having to click a key to talk.

Yeah, of course thats what I mean... nearly every chatting program has voice features, but I like using Skype like I would a land line phone, that's what makes it great.

You can get USB phones phones that imitate real phones and they work too; I've tried it.

you can also get adapters for real phones that converts them to be able to be used as VOIP phones
