I need some help because my computer all of a sudden started freezing for a good 4 minutes at the Motherboard splash screen during startup. Its getting very frustrating because i do not know the cause. If anyone has any ideas please feel free to display them. Thank you in advance

It may be that inadvertently your motherboard has gone to the mode where it checks every megabyte is present on the RAM. Check in the BIOS to see if something called 'Quick POST' or something similar is present. Also turn off the splash screen so it displays the messages of it POST'ing to see if there's another issue.

That would be something like GRUB and how long the OS selection menu stays up for.
