Default 22" Acer Lcd

Anyone hear anything bad about these? Or good?

it powers up slower than others because it will show the ACER logo other than that is has a nice default color. though it is not good for wall mounting because you can't remove the legs.

I want this for gaming like BF 2142,CS:S my systems in my sig. The 5ms respones time sounds good but is there anything that would make this not work for my applacation?

The only problem would be that BF2142 doesnt support widescreen... but otherwise get it if you have the money.

But battle field should still look ok right? Maybe thats why my friends looked like crap compared to my 19"crt

I have BF2, same engine and whatnot, and i have to run it at 1280X960 (highest resolution that is closest to my 19in LCD [1440X900]). It still looks alright, but make sure you dont leave it at 800X600, which is probably what your friend is doing.

I think his was on 1024x768 but def looking to get a new monitor. Im trying to get some room on the top of the desk for my pc. A 19" CRT takes up alot of room.

using it right now.

i love it. once you move up to a large monitor like this there is NO going back. trust me. you'll absolutely love it.

and i've got the 7600GT and games run great, but mine is 256, and overclocked.
