Tablet Laptop For College.

Hi Guys,

I will be heading off to college next year and I have always wanted a tablet laptop and I was wondering what would be the best model to get? I do not want to spend more than $1,500.

I surf the internet a lot and check my emails and I do some graphic designing. I am not a big fan of game playing.

my main advice is don't go with gateway if you really want to use the tablet features. Gateway has their own propriotary digtizer technology and it just isn't as good as the standard technology that is in most other tablet pc's (the name escapes me at the moment) anyway i've had nothing but trouble with mine since i got it. The whole concept is very nice though, more people should invest in tablet pc's.

Tablets are nice but its much faster to type then to take notes and they also use more battary and run out faster from my expirence with the one i bought and sold a month later... Go with a good laptop and just type you wont regret it.

haha I actually agree with your point after doing a little bnit of careful researching on google...the tablet pc market seems to be too expensive to me to get into...

so for a regular laptop, how is the lenovo thinkpad t61?

i saw that over the weekend and i really liked it
