Default Motherboard

I'm building my own pc for the first time... just wanted to double check this before i went on. This motherboard http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131096
has the nvidia on the northbridge as the chipset... does that have any effect on what type of video card i put in it (namely has to be an nvidia one and not an ati)?

Thanks

If it's a single card no, but if you want to use 2 aka sli/crossfire then yes you would need to get 2 exact nvidia cards
