boot the flash software with the bios on a floppy and boot from it.

Are you talking about the Gigabyte in the Coming soon if so you need bios F11 not 2
Intel E2160 (1.8GHz,1MB) 800 F11 http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Support/M...me=GA-965P-DS3 Use this if your not up to using the boot floppy , works good I have used it many many times! http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/FileList/...ech_a_bios.htm If not Gigabyte has Q-flash too.
