Default How do I know which one is the Latest Driver ?

I own the Lite-on 20A1H

I just updated the drivers, from LL05 to LL06, and a minute later from LL06 to LL0A.

How do I know which one is newer, LL06 or LL0A ??
Thanks

Update drivers? You mean firmware? I have yet to update any drives for my optical drive and they are more than 2 year old.

Updating your firmware reduces errors.
It also makes whatever you burn more compatible with other devices.
Peace

LLOA is the latest firmware for my Lite-On.

To make an attempt at answering the original question, the 2nd half of the "driver" number looks like it might be a hex code kinda thing? so if LL06 is newer than LL05, then I'd say LL0A is the newest, and LL0B would be next up to bat... I'm sure they'd label them in order of release.
That's just a guess really though.

You wouldn't need to update any drivers or firmware for optical drives man, unless that firmware enables some hidden feature or something. Optical drives should "just work" when you connect it up, Windows installs the drivers automatically.
