Exclamation funny update !! ??


since when has "installing a malicious software removal tool been an update?
I like to choose which security i have on my pc, NOT M$

Thats been on there for years mate. AFAIK, it runs once then deletes itself

i know the malicious software tool is not a recent thing but it says June 2007, so it must be a new version.

You realize that when Windows downloads an update, you can choose custom installation and uncheck to install that tool I hope.

THE POINT IS... m$ says "do you want to download updates", BUT then it installs a software application as well.

I'm not worried about the install itself, it's just that M$ says one thing and does another. The same thing happened with the WGA tool the other year. maybe i'm just being picky but I don't need Bill Gates help to keep me virus free LOL

There's a lot to be said for LINUX
