Yes, it's fantastic, but the 8800GTXs are better. As an ATi fanboy I don't want to utter those words, but it is the truth. If you really want, you can take a look at the 22 page VR-Zone review.
However, new versions are coming out with a supposible R620 core - X2900XTX etc which should smoke the 8800 series!

i never own a ati card except the one in my laptop
maybe in the future i might buy one ![]() geforce 5200 fx > 6600gt > geforce 7900gt > 8800 gtx

I personally dont see the 1GB being needed, maybe 768MB, but not 1GB. And the HD2900XT is a great card, but it's not better then the GTX, although for it's price you shouldnt expect it.

I know it isn't better than a GTX or an Ultra, I was just posting it up waiting on someone to say it was better b/c of the VRAM, nah just kidding. I don't see it being needed either, but as I said above it fools the idiot market.
