Default Antec 900 or Antec P 180 ?

P 180 has a lot more reviews, but both cases have excellent reviews.

I'm looking to build my first ever gaming rig. Here's what's I know it will contain:

- E6600 (may wait until after July to buy)
- evga 680 motherboard (most likely, evga getting the nod over asus apparently, and evga' lifetime warranty helps)
- Geforce 8800 GTS 640
- 2 x 1 meg of ram (for starters) just not sure which brand

What are some of your thoughts?

I am NOT looking to overclock or run an SLI config.

I just found this thread http://www.maximumpc.com/forums/view...013682714059df

So it looks like the P 180 won't handle the length of the 8800, but the Antec 900 will. So there's my answer.

i use the antec 900 in my build.. its a very good case. power supply is on the bottom which causes a little congestion of power cables but its nothing strip ties cant fix. pretty cool tho keeps my quad core at 35 c at idle and no more then 42 under moderate load

Get the Gunmetal P180B it looks great (pretty darned sure it will fit dual 8800GTX) if you find P180B doesnt fit two 8800GTX's go with the P190.

keep in mind, the p180 can hold 7 hard drives, and if you can live with only 4, you can remove the 2nd hard drive rack, which is what would block the 8800 from fitting.
