Default Q6600?

I could buy the C2D E6600 now for the same price (~ $250) that the Q6600 will go for Q3 July 22nd.

So my questions are:

1. No apps or games really supports the Q6600 right? But it is still faster than the E6600? And at least I will be setup for the future when Quad Core *is* supported right?

2. Would a Gigabyte P35 mb would be perfect/great for this CPU ?

It just seems to make sense to me to get the Q6600 in July for the price it's going to be, right?

Let me ask this: how much will the E6600 and E6700 expected to be after July 22nd?
