Hi all, recently got a wireless keyboard and mouse, the Logitech S510. Had to format shortly after getting them, completely unrelated, but after that i never got round to installing any games, until today, when i got bored.
So this is the first time i've ever played games on a wireless keyboard. My question, is it suposed to lag this much??? Seriously, it's like a godd 0.8 of a second after a i press a key before it starts to move and its the same when i take my finger off a key, it takes that long to stop moving aswell... Any ideas or am I just being dumb in not realising that ALL wireless keyboards and mice do this...? Thanks in advance for any replies, dragon

Well, I'm not sure about the keyboard, but I do have a wireless mouse. The mouse is only about 4" away from the USB "receiver" on my laptop so I don't get noticeable lag, but when playing CSS there's times when you spot someone, and tap the mouse button they've already shot you (we're talking split seconds) before your shot goes off. This is really only noticeable in sniping though, but it's there.
How close are your wireless components to the receiver?

Install the software for your keyboard. which is located at http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/433/145&cl=us,en
Also get something like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16812179049 and then you can put the reciver closer to the mouse and keyboard. Kent. |
