Default ebatts.com battery fried my laptop

About 5 weeks ago, just in time to take it with on a vacation, I got a replacement battery for my Sony laptop from a place called ebatts.com and immediately after starting the computer it went dead. I had an extended warranty so when I got back from vacation I sent it into the shop for repair. It took about 3 weeks to get it back and I was told that a power source caused the problem, probably the battery they say. The store was nice enough to replace the laptop but ebatts.com refused to take the battery back because I was a week past the 30 day return policy. They also refused to even exchange it under the batterys 1 year warranty because I could not ship them the damaged laptop to test it (the store has it). The only reason I was one week late was because the laptop was in the shop and I even offered to show them the paperwork. That is the last time I buy any kind of battery online.
