Default how to change the file system on my laptop

Hi Guys

The filling system on my laptop is currently Flat 32 and I want to change it to NTFS can anyone please please help me with this

the only way i would know to convert and keep your files would be to run the windows setup from the cd and then tell it you want to convert your current file system to NTFS

I take it you have XP on their, if so go to the command prompt and type in:

VOL C:

Note the name of the disk and the Volume Serial Number. Then type:

CONVERT C: /FS:NTFS

You will be asked for the info then let it do it's work.

There's always the chance of data loss so back up first.

Thanks guys I will try that this evening I will first have to clear my hard drive so that I can store everything on there
