the only way i would know to convert and keep your files would be to run the windows setup from the cd and then tell it you want to convert your current file system to NTFS

I take it you have XP on their, if so go to the command prompt and type in:
VOL C: Note the name of the disk and the Volume Serial Number. Then type: CONVERT C: /FS:NTFS You will be asked for the info then let it do it's work. There's always the chance of data loss so back up first. Last edited by The_Other_One; 06-22-2007 at 07:05 AM. |
