Default Blueyonder

So Im having trouble with my blueyonder connection and they sent me this email

Thank you for your post to blueyonder Technical Support

Please close all Established connections as these may be affecting your speeds.
Once closed, then try a test download again, followed by the results from the
netstat -a

Kind regards

How do i close connections and download something from the internet????

I'm having trouble understanding that to tell you the truth LOL. but perhaps it meant to make sure you didn't have any p2p clients and such open and downloading errr things like shut any web browser windows except for the one you would need and then try downloading somthing.

They do make it sound like they want you to close all connections which would mean disconnect from the internet but that would just be silly eh? hehe that would definatly affect your download speed LOL. What's blueyonder? ISP?
