Hello,
I'm interested in doing landscape and human animation on my pc but i haven't done it since high school. I was curious to know what are some of the top programs out there (for example, I used to use bryce quite alot). Thanks. |

For human animation I was lucky enough to have a go on a piece of software called 'Endorphin' the other day, which uses 'dynamic motion synthesis' to calculate various parameters on the fly rather than using a set of predetermined calculations and parameters.
For example if you applied a force of a specified magnitude and direction to a character, the software will do the rest, realistically making the character fly back and roll along the ground maybe. This software is amazing, and it has some built in tutorials to get you started. You can also import data from those motion suits (with the ping pong balls! ) if you want.Youtube or Google some videos of it. I will say that its very expensive though.
