sub-$1000 sys
I need sub-$1000 full system /wo keyboard (thats the only thing that will be transfered to my new system).
Probably buying it in one week. I'll be away for a few days, maybe I can get some reccomendations on brands, models and shops where to buy things from. Perfect system would be something like that: Case/PSU: Not that important... CPU: Sempron 3100+ Motherboard: Socket 754. Sound card: Maybe M-Audio Audiophile. HDD: ~80GB GFX card: GeForce 6600 GT RAM: 1gig would be perfect. OS: XP Home Edition. Monitor: Samsung 172X is my dream right now. 17", LCD, 12ms response time. DVD-RW drive. Speakers: Klipsch?  Purpose: Some gaming, web design. Thx, Kristjan

if you do your research you can build a 64 bit for under $1000, my system described below was only $800
check newegg.com and zipzoomfly.com do research, thats how to get deals!
