I just got a Thinkpad T61 loaded with Vista Ultimate. This is probably overkill for my needs (see specs below) cause I'm not a big gamer or anything, I just wanted to shut up my friend with his Macbook pro lol (the fingerprint reader did the trick). My question is this, although I'm very impressed with the specs on this laptop I would like to upgrade the video card to something with a 256mb memory for Vista Aero/games/etc... and am wondering what you guys think would be the best choice for this computer and OS?

Well, the amount of video memory isn't the most important part. What vid card is in his macbook?

for sure hNic, the thinkpad is the quintessential laptop (any model) the t61 caught my eye and I def made the right choice, i love it!
speedylink, not sure wats in his macbook, all i know is its 256mb but w/e its kind of an expensive gag anyway. its just thats the only area where mac excels, graphics |
