been playin serious sam a lot lately, and i've noticed that there are black blotches/squares/rectangles all over that should be the background texture. when i go up to say a wall that has a big black square rather than the nice texture the rest of the wall has, and shoot it, it comes back, but then i'll turn away and back again and it's black. i'm running an XFX 8600GT 256MB, with all the settings to default. it shouldn't be doing this as it's such an old game that my vid card shouldn't have the slightest problems even at the highest possible settings. any clues?
