Can you switch the graphics card in a laptop?

^^topic. Would someone like Geek Squad have to do it, or is it something I could do myself without ruining it?

Some laptops can, most can't. It all depends on the model.

I don't know of any laptops that you can change out video cards in. You really can't upgrade laptops at all besides hard drive and RAM, and I suppose you could swap out the modular optical drive but any new laptop will have a dual layer dvd burner anyways. Everything else you add via external devices either firewire or usb.

in mine you can swap cards or add another card, you just need to take apart almost all of the laptop
