Default gparted??

I posted an earlier thread on how to change the size or get rid of 2 partitions on my hdds. i burned gparted to a boot disc and loaded it, but could not figure it out, it was extremely complicated, i am pretty savy with this stufff but got nowhere and eventually figured out how to do it from Vista, shrink one partition, then delete it and expand the existing one, so now i have 2 320 gb drives, one with xp, one with vista.
