I recently bought a new Dell XPS 720 with a Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeMusic(D) Sound Card and with Dell A525 2.1 Stereo Speakers with Subwoofer. I have another set of speakers that I used to use on my old computer which I would like to hook up to work simultaneously with my current speakers. The older speakers are Dell A425 2.1 Stereo Speakers with a Subwoofer. How do I go about setting the two up.
I am also thinking about reformatting the XPS 720 to repartition the hard drive so I may end up needing to setup the original speakers as well. It would be easiest if I could install both immediately after reformatting and partitioning. |

im not sure, i havnt had a nice card like that but with lower end sound cards im not sure with ones like that, if i had 1 sub with 4 speakers pluged in to the computer(1 connection) and added another connection(set of speakers) only 1 will play, like head phones to a computer
