Is there any kind of plugin or any way to save a printable document in a pdf. For instance, I paid for something online but was not able to print the receipt. I saved it with document writer, but id rather use pdf if there was any way.
Thanks, Jason |

Besides the obvious option, Acrobat, there's Open Office. It has the ability to export to PDF.

There are lots of options - depending on whether you want freeware or not.
First of all, DrCuddles is right in his post. If you have Adobe Acrobat (not just Acrobat Reader) then you should have an Adobe PDF printer installed in your printers folder. Just select that as the printer and it will create a pdf. If you don't have that then: Freeware: http://www.bullzip.com/products/pdf/info.php (read the system requirements. You will also need to install ghostscript. It's all free - just read their instructions). http://www.primopdf.com/ Total free, no extras to install. http://www.fineprint.com/ PDF-Factory (standard and pro). It is actually shareware, but if you never buy it, it will still create pdf, but at the bottom of every page, it will say "printed with free version of pdf-factory". And now some software to buy: http://www.nitropdf.com/ http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/pe_intro.php http://www.aloaha.com/wi-software-en/printing.php http://www.novapdf.com/ http://www.investintech.com/products...prod_sonic.htm Free might sound better at first, but you'll have to check the quality. Some free pdf creators give terrible graphics quality output. So, check it out and see for yourself. I have used pdf factory (good overall, medium quality output), primopdf (can't remember why, but I did not like it), and nitropdf (best quality, but sometimes program was buggy - you have to pay for it - however, price is way better than adobe).

If I am understanding the question right you might want to try CutePDF which is freeware.
