In Counter Strike, which is better - AK or M4? what are the differences?

I prefer the M4 when it's shooting over a distance, but the AK when up close, such as in the office map.

Overall I prefer the M4. It's more accurate, and when you use it right it's a headshot machine. I use a silencer in any map other than office usually. I mainly would use an AK when you're on T or when rushing (aim in the head area), otherwise it's not that great.

I love rocking with both of them.
Ak owns for 2 round burst.
M4 is a good all around weapon.

However if you really know how to use a AK, it will rock the m4.

I love the M4 with the silencer, any map, any time. It just makes such a sexy sound.

m4 is better than the AK, but the AK is much cheaper. m4 is more accurate, AK is more powerful

M4 is better at least for me. My combination is the M4 with the silencer and the desert eagle.

I like them both the same, if I'm on CT's I always try to pick up an AK, and if I'm T always try to pick up an M4, just something I do, haha.

A question to add to the topic, does silencer on or off actually make a difference? Some people reckon silencer makes in more accurate, but less powerful, myself I don't notice a difference. Silencer just sounds much cooler.
