Soyo sy-kt600 dragon plus v2.0 motherboard AMD Athlon XP 2000 processor 768mb PC2700 333mhz ram GeForce fx 5500 128mb video card I use the onboard sound card with mother board Think thats most of the important gaming components, if there is any other info let me know that you would need. Thanks. |

Well, if you care about sound (which I never have, as long as I can hear it), you could get a new sound card/speaker system, but otherwise, I can't see many better upgrades other than the processor/motherboard, which you could stand to replace soon.

i've got decent speakers, and dont have any problem with it. I just purchased the motherboard and it'll handle the 400 mhz ram, and up to like a 3 ghz processor (just wont support the dual ram or whatever it is called, im drawing a blank) I will probably upgrade processor soon, but right now for the money to upgrade to much better its not worth it for me.

dual channel u mean if u want to make it a "safer" for when ur playing onlin and just to be a better experience, get a radeon 9600 rather than the 5500 and i do believe that a 9600 128 mb is only liek $100 and a 5500 is liek 110-120
