Default Takes a day to power up?

Hi I have a self build and everything went nicely for sometime but now when I hit the power switch it takes for ever to power up - once it does power up its fine but it really can take upto 12 hours to power up - any ideas? Using and ANTEC TRUEPOWER2 480P BLUE (Specs Here: http://www.extremeoverclocking.com/r...480Blue_2.html)

OK I can see the power light on the motherboard...

In a few hours 4 -12 it will be as if I just pressed the power button and everything will start spinning and humming and so forth and it will boot as normal. I just don't understand the lag between pressing the power button and the power actually coming on...

I am thinking PSU? upgrade to a ANTEC PSU/TruePower Quattro 850W? I mean i haven't mentioned I run 3 drive caddies so I can swap out hard drives easily (I use it for Video, 3 D and Gaming)

Do you have everything plugged in correctly, the 20 and the 4 pin connector to the motherboard, are they in?
That power supply should have no problems... It has a good amount of Amps on the 12v Rail.

Check all cables and try a different power supply.

Yes, all the cables are in... it seems as if it is having to charge for ages before having enough juice to power up - completely stumped

Did you let go of the power switch when pressing?

Try another PSU
