Default Teamspeak VS Ventrilo

hey all, i have a question to ask. which do you think is better out of TS and Vent?

which is more secure? (from hacks etc...)
which gives better sound quality?

etc....

i have used them both, but i need some more opinions.

EDIT: Please give reasons for your choice! Thanks.

Ventrilo is far better than teamspeak. Ventrilos speach codecs (is that the right term) are far better than TS. Also. While I was addicted to WoW many of my raiding guilds used Ventrilo due to its stability. And the fact that you can hear and understand alot better while on vent. Teamspeak is a quick, easy and cheap solution to voice chat issues however. But definitely Ventrilo > Teamspeak.

I find TS has better sound quality as well, plus vent is annoying, at least in TS you can disable the joined/quit sounds and what not. Both programs are stable as well so for the most part it's really just a matter of preference and I hate vent, I don't really like TS either but I do think it's better.

Vent smokes ts.
You can turn off the alert sounds in vent.

Sometimes scientists make things alot harder than they need to. All they've gotta do is put a big spring on the ground where they think it's gonna land, or send a mission to the moon to erect a sign that says "Welcome to Earth".
