Default 52c Hdd...

PC Wizard Readings on my WD 80GB HDD (bought at my vacation in Taiwan 3C store... only like a month ago):

52C , even at idle. I install all my games on my secondary 2GB WD HDD... so the 80GB isnt even getting much stress. Why is this??? My other computer's Seagate 120GB barely reaches 29C (but this one has a 30CFM cooler)...

That's quite hot, but it's not like it is going too die or anything. Make sure you have sufficient air flow. The temp sensor may also be a little off. Old disks tend to run hotter as well.

Some time ago (like a week or 2 ago) when it was at 40-50 C I touched it... it was warm like my 20 something C hdd on my other compy... is the sensor bad? I have 2 case fans, one side intake one exhaust in back, one PSU fan to get the heat out.. cpu cooler, with as5...

It could just be the sensors on the WDs or the way the programs read them, I think Archangel has WD drives and even with fans blowing on them they would always read 50 degrees.

Mine are mostly 35-40C, and on hot days even higher. I have 6 disks in my case.
