I'm looking for something thats alot better for gaming than my 7600GS to hold me over to i get an 8800 series card more towards the end of the year. I'm looking for something probably a 7800 or better but still kinda cheap. Below are some specs im looking for in the card.
atleast 256mb 256bit atleast 20 pixelpipelines

I would suggest you not specifying the amount of pixelpipelines, because only Nvidia has graphics cards with over 16 pipes. Nvidia has more pixelpipelines, but Ati has more shaders, and they both even out

There isnt a whole lot in between the 7600 and the 8800 that would be affordable, anyways.

stick with the card it is pretty good, i mean you can get a 7900gs for 130 and a 7950gt for 200 and for 100 bucks more 8800gts 320mb. its worth to wait, im using a nvidia riva tnt 2 pro card look it up and see how i feel

yeah if you are that desperate to upgrade right now go with the 7950gt, otherwise just hold out a little longer until the prices of the 8-series cards come down

I can see you saying at least 256MB, but you cant judge how fast a card is by it's memory interface or the number of pixel pipelines.
