Question Wireless NIC vs. Wireless USB Adapter

Howdy folks!

Are there any performance differences between a Wireless NIC and a USB Wireless Adapter?

I like the transportability of the USB Adapter, but if a NIC is going to work better I would get that because I want to do online gaming (Call of Duty: United Offensive). I would hate to sacrifice game performance if I make the wrong choice.

For wireless they are both going to be the same speed. So the Usb may actually be better cause you can move the antenna around by exstention cords and get signal.

If this is for a desktop and you getting a wireless nic where everyour desktop is is where it is and stays.

If it is for a lap top still go for usb cause of mobility.
