isn't this card design for entertainment centre type of pc. I mean its just like 8500gt which is use purely for movie and stuff like that.

If someone has an HTPC then this would be a good choice if they want the latest technology, but dont need the performance of the 2600/2900 series.
In terms of gaming performance, it's slightly below the 7600GS and x1600XT.

In terms of gaming performance it is much slower than 7600GS
I haven't found any benchmark for HD2400Pro but I have found one for HD2400XT 7300GT beats HD2400XT in many cases. So I assume that HD2400Pro would be on par with 7300GS (if not 7300LE) http://www.clubic.com/article-75676-...d-2400-xt.html As everyone said, this is not a gaming card. This video card is for multimedia. If you are a gamer then you can get 7300GT or 7600GS for the same price. |
