Dual monitor question

I am planning on getting the 8800GTS 640mb video card, and want to use two monitors, one for gaming and one for browsing the web and what not. Do I need a program to do that? And does both monitor have to be the same brand? I have a 19" LG monitor right now and want to get a 22" Samsung widescreen. Will it work?

It'll work. You don't need a program either.
