Can someone help please?

I have been banned from my favorite forum recently by some mistake. I have tried to contact the webmaster of the forum but no reply. I am able to access it from my pc at work, just not from my home pc.

Is there some way to change my computer settings so I can get back in. Is it seeing my ip address and blocking me out or what. Any help would be great. Thanks.

It is probably an IP ban. How long has it been going on? If it isn't a long time, just wait. It should be fixed in a day or two, if it was a mistake.

It has been going on for about 4 or 5 days. It is definately a mistake because I would never do anything stupid enough to get banned from my favorite forum. I guess I will wait a few more days and see what happens.

If its an IP ban, he can't access the forum at all, so he won't be able to make a new account. Even if he could, the webmaster will know his IP address from his last banned account.

Why don't you contact the Admin? If it's a legitimate mistake, he will reinstate you.

reset your router it will normally assign you a new ip

Dunno about you but everytime I start my DSL I'll get different IPs.
