Default blue screen problem

every now and then, my monitor screen turns blue. almost if you imagine dimming a screen darker instead of black its blue. i have found a Rather rudimentary way of temporarily solving the problem by gently kicking the computer. so the obvious question is how do i solve the problem of the blue screen and stop it from happening ?

Might be a loose connection, your video card is going out, or your monitor it going out. open up the case and take a peek around. Make sure that all connections and tight and fit snugly. then if that doesnt work try another monitor

Yeah, agreed. If I had to take a guess without looking at the machine I'd say a loose connection.

Check all connections as they said we had this issue with a few computers in the lab i was incharge of at school last year. If that doesnt help pull out our video card and reseat it and see that its securely attached.
