Vista upgrade, drivers and software info

im gonna install vista ultimate on my pc- i just want to know do i need to get all driver updates first? also i have avg antivirus and comodo firewall- are these vista compliant? ne other issues i should be aware of? thanks

avg is you have to right click and go into compatibility and set it to run in xp mode, been there done that avg doesnt like vista very much on its own wierd things happen, and when you install vista on it it should have a firewall, i havent had any problems with it.
and for the drivers your upgrade should come with them, you will prolly have to update them after you install it tho but no biggie there.

If you just download Vista Upgrade Advisor from microsoft it will scan your computer and find out if it will work ok with vista

thanks for that- i thought the vista upgrade advisor only advised as to hardware- so il give it a go
