Default my 3dmark06 score, need advice...

Hey guys, i built my pc yesterday, just ran 3dmark06 score and got

8322

Is this good? I would like any opinions and how in any way i could improve this. my system is in my signature and like i said i built it yesterday and im a bit of a n00b so any suggestions will be of much help

That sounds right for your setup. I get 6000 with my setup. The ONLY way to improve that score is to overclock your 8800GTS and CPU (oc-ing memory will help slightly as well).

i agree, the 3dmark06 score is heavily based on your CPU and GPU performance

It's a good score considering everything is stock, but you can easily boost performance by overclocking.
