Default DVD+R problem?

hi,
i'm haveing trouble with some format, or program technicalitys, and everyone that i know who is computer savy is out of ideas, so i turn to you.
I am trying to take pictures put them into a slideshow with music, useing DVD slideshow, put it on a DVD+R and then put in a dvd player and have it show up on a tv.
and yes my DVD player plays dvd+r.
any ideas

If your computers DVD burner and your DVD player can both use DVD+Rs, I dont really understand your question. Are you just wanting to know how to use the DVD Slideshow program?

no, i'm wondering why the dvd player wont play the dvd. and if theres anything else i can try

Try a different brand of DVD+R... I've heard of some just not being compatible.

You have to use a format that the DVD player can read, look in the players manual, most anymore have it on the front of the player
