The Core 2 Duo is the best choice.

thanks,
iam doing alotof searchingtoday for the right laptopfor my budget ,i was tring to get dedicated graphics for games but for my budget not many have it. i saw a laptop on ebay which said this ( Graphics Dedicated (NVIDIA® GeForce® Go 7300 256MB Dedicated increased with Turbo Cache) are they dedicated or not ? i'm confused by the turbocache part |

Most if not all of laptops have non-upgradable video cards, so no, most likely the video card can not be changed.
And in order of best to worst, I would say: 1.) Core 2 Duo 2.) AMD Turion X2 3.) Pentium 4

7300 wont be able to play very many games at high detail but should be able to cope with some recent games on low settings

thanks everyone for the great advice, allwelcome.
i will make my mind up soon which one to get, everytime i see one that looks good i see something on the specs that it is missing or not up to the job. i guess a compromise is in order.
