How to import Mp4 music files into a Mp3 compatabile program?

I have blubster and when I import the folder that has the music I want the program to play the mp3 extension files only load up how can you get the mp4 files to also load and if you can convert the mp4 files to mp3 without corrupting the files how do it.

I use IMTOO mpeg encoder, it helps me out a lot converting to different media
