Default DVD burning software

Hey, I need to burn a DVD with a bunch of files on it. However the computer doesn't have a DVD burner. I downloaded DeepBurner which received a pretty good rating on download.com but I'm getting an error when I go to burn the actual DVD, does anyone know of good free burning software? It's an important DVD, has a bunch of quicken files and tax files so it's important that I burn these files successfully without any problems, as I have to format the computer and once I do that, the files will be gone.

I am 99.9% sure that you need to have a DVD burner to burn DVD's. Just DVD burning software won't enable you to be able to burn a DVD without a DVD burner.

You need a DVD burner, and I'm 100% sure of this. You can buy a decent one for £17.21, plus about £4 shipping from this Ebuyer product store, and this will allow you to successfully burn the files to DVD.

No no, I mistyped. It has a DVD burner, it doesn't have DVD burning software. Common guys, you've seen me around here, you know I'm not stupid, hahaha. Bigsaucybob, you're only 99.9% sure you need a DVD burner to burn DVD's? heh. Just playin man. Anyway, anyone know of any good free software?

Edit: P.S. I'm from the US... I don't even know kind of currency £ is... I'm a stupid American.
Edit #2: I found a copy of Nero, thanks anyway!
