You mean something that allows you to Overclock within windows?

http://www.cpuid.com/clockgen.php

Edit: Clockgen might not be able to change the mult.. try it and report back!

He's asking for a program that can raise the CPU's multiplier, although it can not be raised any higher then stock because they are locked. But here are a few things you can try.

Go into you're BIOS and manually raise the multiplier to the highest it can go (not sure what your stock speed is, so I can't give a specific multiplier). If it's on Auto, that may be causing the problems.

I have a question however, does it stay at the lower multiplier constantly, or only when it's idling? If you're not sure, download CPU-Z, and download Orthos (stress testing program). While Orthos is running, watch the CPU portion of CPU-Z and note if your processor bumps back up.

When its at 1.199Ghz, it will sometimes bump back to 1.799 GHz at times... I diable stepspeed, on POST it says 1.8Ghz, but at the desktop it just stays at 1.199Ghz. I cannot change multipliers in BIOS, no matter how many times I try to reset or change options int he BIOS

Hmmm... you were right the moment ORTHOS started, the speed (PC Wizard minimized the top right corner specs) it jumped to 1799MHz and stayed there... seems that the Stepspeed tab in the BIOS doesnt work...

Curious: Would the speed jump to 1.8Ghz when I play HALO or Underground 2? Thanks!
