Hi
I just wanted to say how much I like CF.com so many problems I had have been solved by this site and I too, am happy to be a participant. But however, no offense, but in my opinion how CF looks is shocking. It is extremely boring and does not encourage users to stay, because you cant have images in your sig. The layout is boring, the colour scheme is boring. Check this site out: www.**************** Please dont flame me, Im only voicing my opinion

i like the simplicity of CF. its good and easy to read.
the site you linked to wouldnt be the best if you were on a 56k modem, it would take flippin years to load. where as here at the CF, because it is simple it wouldnt take half as long to load. the mods here like to take this into account, and i for one agree with this, if everyone had pics in their sigs i bet half the people that visit this forum would leave, as it would take them ages to load a page.... imo, Don't Change A Thing!

I just did some research. We could have a full blown graphical site and include a lo-fi version, just like **************** (at the bottom)

I know we've had this discusion time and time again, but I think having a picture signature would be cool, you could have the option to turn it off in the User CP if you were on 56K.

but ultimately its up to the Mods, Ian, and whoever else is in charge here to decide. and if you have a read through some older threads on a similar subject, you will see that they are happy with how it is atm...

I remember at one point they had a thread on designing a new banner for CF, I came up with a design that Ian said he'd use if they ever changed the layout of CF. I think he did, He can correct me if I'm wrong

I understand your arguement, but you would be surprised how many more users would be attracted to join this wonderful community if only we could change it to a more appealing style.

hmm..... most people on here atm, if not all, are here because they either have a problem that needs sorting or a question to ask about something, or they are here to help those people. these people are all here for reasons to do with computers, not to do with the look of the website. this is gonna be my last post on this, i really cba to argue about it at the moment.
