Exclamation CD/DVD RW shopping help !

my cd/dvd rw broke down on me recently and i need to shop for a new one, i dont quite understand this on what theyre talkin about

Cache: 2MB
CD-R: 48X
CD-ROM Access Time: 120ms
CD-RW: 32X
DVD+R: 18X
DVD+RW: 8X

so could u make it more simple and tell me what i should look for in buying a new Drive, also i want light scribe with it too. thanks for ur help in advance.

cache is onboard ram
cd-r is how fast it burns r cd's
cd rom access time is how fast the drive reads cd's after the door closes
cd-r/w is what speed r/w disks burn @
dvd +r is how fast dvd +r media is burnt at, same if it has -r
dvd+r/w same as cd r/w and -r for mat ( not to be confussed with "r" cd's)
any of these are good

I think one is SATA, the rest are PATA ( IDE)
