Should I buy a Pentium II

I really want a used laptop. I found a 400 MHZ Thinkpad on eBay for $120. With Windows 98. Should I save up for a faster one?

What do u plan on doing with a windows 98 laptop anyway? If your gonna upgrade it anyway save up for something useful.

pentium II?? dont expect to play games or do alot of media work on it

if ur just going to use it for really simple web browsing and word.. it should be ok but will be very slow on web pages with alot of graphics or videos..

Don't buy that! For about $300 you can buy a laptop with a Celeron M and XP or Vista!
