Also a huge thing that needs mentioning is the OS. Do you have a non-proprietary (i.e. can be installed on computers other than a Compaq) copy of Windows? Or are you a Linux user? If you're not a Linux user, now might be a good time to start.
yeah i basically just need a building block for now..i can def add more ram+get a vid card and other things in the near months to come..about the hdd your right..i dont need one with a large capacity as i can salvage the 200gb i have now..for the os i have a copy of windows xp.. it can be installed on other comps,..as far as linux..i've heard of it..have no clue how to use it ..im willing to learn though
