yeah i basically just need a building block for now..i can def add more ram+get a vid card and other things in the near months to come..about the hdd your right..i dont need one with a large capacity as i can salvage the 200gb i have now..for the os i have a copy of windows xp..its an illegal copy(trust i would buy a legal copy if the funds were available) but it can be installed on other comps, just cant be updated..as far as linux..i've heard of it..have no clue how to use it ..im willing to learn though
