Default Opinions on my first build

After a bit of research, I finally decided on some parts. I will buy all of these after the new Intel price drop and would like this computer to last me 2-3 years with a upgrade here and there if needed. The most I'm going to spend is $1000 total including shipping, it can go a little over, so maybe $1100 max. Here are the parts that I've absolutely decided on.

CASE: APEVIA X-CRUISER-AL Silver Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Retail

I have the other necessities.

I'm gonna buy a couple of more fans for the case, any recommendations on those? I need a 120mm and maybe 2 80mm for the front.

I'm not a hardcore gamer, but I do play games frequently. I play Supreme Commander sometimes, not a lot, and then there is Guild Wars. I might get Guild Wars 2 when it comes out and I have no clue what specs are recommended for that game. Then I play online games like Kart Rider. So, I chose to get the 8600GT and upgrade in the future if I need to. So, if you really think I should get a 8800, then please do try to convince me.

Also, for the optical drive and HD I chose, I would need to buy a IDE cable and a SATA cable, correct? Since this is my first build after all, just wanna make sure.

Since I'm not going to OC anything, is the stock fan for the CPU ok or should I buy a new one?

Thanks for taking your time in reading this and helping me out.

EDIT: Updated the parts. After more research and taking some opinions into consideration from different sites, and my $1000 budget. I'm 90% sure that this will be my build once the new CPU comes out. So, what are your opinions?

Also, I won't be using Vista until next year maybe or the year after depending on the updates.

Hmm the only things i see that you could change are the psu to a corsair 520w which is much better and around the same price, maybe the dvd burner to a lite on sata model but that's if you want and btw your links are broken i had to copy and paste the model numbers on a existing newegg product page to being able to see it

The corsair PSU I saw on newegg costs $100. Mind posting a link to the one you're talking about?

http://www.buy.com/prod/corsair-520w...203270716.html - There are occasional rebates on this product but it's definitely worth the extra money.

Hmmm.......I'll think about it, if there's a rebate by the time I order it, then I'll buy it.

What do you guys think of using this PSU?

I already have it, so that's why I'm asking.

Is kinda weak for the stuff you want, but for a mid or mid-low pc should be enough

I changed some parts and updated the post, since now it ends up under my budget with shipping to spare. Tell me what you all think about it now.

Thanks.

If you planned on adding an 80mm fan to the front of that case you'd have to custom make the hole, and its has no 120mm fan slots either.
