Hello

I am from ONtario Canada and I am looking for a good quality Lap top for these reasons

Chatting

Surfing the net

Having multiple aplications open at once

Wireless connection

Downloading movies & songs

Watching movies

Just was wondering what do you think i should get from www.futureshop.ca

or www.toshiba.ca if price is not an issue, I just want to get something really good for the simple things I like to do on it? I have other computers and an Ipod memory isnt SUPEr important I guess battery life when not plugged in is but as you can see im totally clueless when it comes to computers and would like some advice from some experienced computer guys

the links you posted weren't super helpful, they really werent specific. if you posted a price range, it would help alot
i did some checking, and heres a compaq for $500, and an HP DV6000z for $600. both will do what you specified quite nicely, but the basic version of both are relatively low powered. if you have a higher budget , i would recommend you upgrade.
