ubuntu wont go away.

i put ubuntu on my computer and i dont like it. so i am putting vista on my laptop. i put the vista disc in my laptop and restart it and it says press any key to boot from cd. so i do it windows loads files and then when there done loading the computer shuts down and just boots up with ubuntu. what up with this?? anyone know whats wrong?

when you boot up the vista cd and installed it you should have repartitioned the drive. that would remove ubuntu. if not through that then use an alternate bootcd to repartition the drive, and continue with your vista install.

i didnt install vista completely. it just loaded like the installation files and then it restarts with ubuntu.

Use Darik's Boot and Nuke to clear the HDD of Ubuntu, totally erases it...
