I agree, i have a Dimention 8400 and the most ive even attemped to do was put an extra 2GB of RAM into it (for 3GB total)

I dont trust the rest of the parts on this thing to do anything more...

it was a great comp when i bought it..but like every other "factory made" product, they make them so they will die sooner apposed to a "self" or "custom" made product, that way you have to go buy a new one...

I have also noticed that some of the more "reputable" brand names, are only reputable because their products tend to last long(er) than their competitors, making you THINK it's a great or better product, that way when it does die, you go back to using their product again and again. Those brand names also mean more money attatched, for example: AlienWare, make decent strong computers, lasting much longer than, say Dell or Gateway, but also an extra load of money.
